IKEA Supply China (“ISCN”) is the wholesale business unit buying IKEA goods from Suppliers and selling to retailers in Asia Pacific region, comparable to IKEA Supply AG.  As a unit equipped with finance, legal, risk, compensation & benefit, corporate communication specialists, ISCN also provides common/shared services to all Inter IKEA business units and sites in China.

Pricing is responsible for the price setting of IKEA Home furniture products in all regional wholesale companies with the aim to secure fair and lowest possible prices towards IKEA retailers in Asia Pacific region, meanwhile to ensure adequate profit level at wholesale companies.

Controlling is responsible for financial planning and relevant control of all regional wholesale companies, and for supporting management to steer business towards agreed financial goals. 

He/she secures budget, financial forecast and monthly reporting process, ensures the existence of solid financial control to build trust in reported figures, and supports management to steer business towards agreed financial goals.

The financial controller understands the wholesale pricing principle, coordinates pricing process, consolidates and verifies input from different business units, and calculates fair and correct price to all IKEA retailers in AP region.

Your assignment

• Support management in the financial planning process for corporate function and all wholesalers in region.
• Secure bi-monthly reporting process in SAP and update management comments to relevant stakeholders on financial performance and fixed assets investment, including corporate functions and wholesalers in CN.
• Provide guidance and support to management and other stakeholders to achieve financial goals by analysing results, highlighting risks and opportunities, and providing recommendations to take appropriate decisions.
• Coordinate pricing/tertial adjustment process for all wholesalers in the region, secure fair and correct price to AP retailers, and adequate profit level at wholesale companies.
• Carry out gross profit and full P/L simulations according to IKEA Pricing strategy meanwhile secure the EBIT result is on track of Transfer Pricing benchmark.
• Build a strong partnership with cross country, cross business unit stakeholders to understand their business and cost picture, ensure a transparent and straightforward cross charge structure.
• Follow external financial requests and internal procedures to ensure compliance.
• Contribute to all projects which need Pricing and Financial controlling support.

Your profile

A     Knowledge

• University degree or equivalent in business administration/finance/controlling/accounting.
• Proven track record in financial controlling relevant fields, preferred 5+ years from a multinational company. (1-2 years of accounting background is a plus)
• Profound financial controlling and data analysis knowledge.
• ACCA or equivalent certification is preferred.
