The Innovation Ventures set up enables us to run programs to accelerate or incubate innovation initiatives as well as make investments in ideas/start-ups in areas relevant for IKEA, or that go beyond the current IKEA business.The team in Innovation Ventures has expertise capabilities and competences in developing collaborations and partnerships, exploration and ideation and working with communities.

We are now looking for an Innovation Venture Analyst 

Job Description

Your passion is within Development & Innovation and finding the next idea that will revolutionise life at home and disrupt the home furnishing market thus developing IKEA for the future. If applying within IKEA, you also have a deep understanding of the IKEA Concept, the IKEA Direction and our IKEA Culture & Values.

We want you to have working knowledge of contractual and business set-ups, agreements, negotiations, legal matters. Good knowledge in financial and risk analysis in international business connected to Ventures and partnerships and capability to spot new potential partners based on business potential 

You want to inspire internally and participate in building financial analytical capability with your ability to communicate complex matter in an easy understandable way. You have enthusiasm for working with diverse stakeholders in highly collaborative settings and leading senior people without formal authority. You are driven to exceed goals and self-motivated to expand the IKEA network.

Qualifications

To be succesful we believe that you have:

• Background in areas such as Venture Investment ,Entrepreneurship and Innovation
• 5+ years of combined experience of working with Venture Capital (preferably Corporate Venture Capital), and/or consulting, accelerators, incubators, start-ups or venture studios.
•    Proven experience as a hands-on senior analyst with deep understanding of financials 
•    Preferred Finance background
• Preferred experience of working in a human centred design-thinking innovation team
• Project management experience, ensuring operations run effectively and efficiently.
