Job Description

Is it important to you to secure that we have an effective, secure and continuously integrated test automated environment?

If yes, this could be the next step in your development.

In this role, your focus will be to build and maintain a test automation framework and test cases across mobile application, web application and embedded IoT. Furthermore, it is within your scope to build and maintain test automation tools and dashboards to enable better testing and visualisation. You will be part of a great team, where you together will secure a high-quality standard by sharing best practices, driving automation and improving the tools we use. You will together foster a ‘quality by design’ mind-set, which secures the testing in the end.

Qualifications

We are now looking for QA Engineers that are equally comfortable in working with Hardware as with Embedded Software and Firmware. You are well-acquainted with software- and product test life cycle, with a deep understanding of Agile, DevOps and continuous delivery. You know how to interpret and communicate complex subjects and identify needed actions. Typical focus areas: low power devices, battery power, radio communication, power converters and micro controllers, but also working with real-time embedded firmware for smart home IoT systems including lights, remote controls, blinds and all new things in our product roadmap. You will join a great team and together we will bring our amazing products to the many people, or as we call it - democratizing the smart home.

You have with you:

  • Knowledge in Python, Java or C#, and it´s an advantage if you are having knowledge in embedded C
  • Experienced with Gerrit, Git and Jenkins
  • Previous experience from the IoT and home automation business
  • Knowledge in microcontroller interfaces, both analogue (ADC, DAC) and digital (I2C, UART, SPI etc)
  • Experience in Thread, Zigbee and Bluetooth and knowledge of Silicon Labs tools and stack is a plus
  • Very experienced in Test Automation tools and best practice
