About the job

As Business Analyst in Business Navigation team you will support the navigation of business performance by delivering relevant, accurate and fact-based business analytics at the right time, based on business needs. You will be cooperating closely with New Business team which is leading new project on improving climate footprint of IKEA supply partners in Central Europe. The main focus areas are: to reduce energy demand from supplier’s production, to secure renewable electricity for them and to motivate to invest in an on-site renewable energy installations.

The project team is in a build-up phase, so you will have a high influence in both what to do and how to do it which we believe is a great opportunity for you. You will work closely with project team members and supply partners from different countries. You will support local team in energy data collection from IKEA supply partners in Central Europe, prepare analysis and overall help with project roll out.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Be an active business partner by providing analytics for business insights and performance reports, support local team in energy data collection and analysis from IKEA supply partners and project roll out
  • Responsible to monitor, analyse and follow up business performance within the business, across all performance areas and relevant dimensions. Present and share in a way that is understandable and actionable.
  • Contribute to business development and innovation by analysing business consequences of different scenarios, through scenario planning, modelling, risk assessment and contingency planning.
  • Supervise building business cases for renewable energy project and co-create building new materials and tools for business teams and suppliers

Qualifications

About you

You have passion for projects and enjoy challenging and dynamic assignments in diverse multi-cultural teams and desire to develop IKEA, to implement business change.  You have high energy, drive and commitment to deliver better solutions for IKEA.

It is highly appreciated If you have experiences from renewable energy projects and stakeholder management.

Moreover, we also believe that you have a combination of the following knowledge, capabilities and motivation:

  • Ideally have at least 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy-related projects with a proven track record.
  • Have strong analytical skills and have an ability to show it in a way that is understandable and inspiring
  • Proven strong project management and controlling skills
  • Ability to communicate in a way that transforms complex business analytics into actionable insights for others.
  • Good knowledge of Polish/European energy market
  • You are fluent in English
  • Excel is no secret for you
  • Can act with the speed required for this business and be comfortable working in the unknown at times. 
  • You identify strongly with our values, you act as an ambassador for them and enjoy creating an environment where the IKEA values are a living reality.
  • You are flexible and able to travel 20% (no travels in pandemic times)
