We are now strengthening the Learning Development within our Sales function and are looking for a colleague with high passion for business and people and the willingness and competence to rock the competence development boat towards our retail and service office colleagues! Together we will support the development of a learning organisation based on the IKEA Culture and Values.

Job Description

As a Learning Developer you both support and drive our competence agenda towards our retail organizations and service offices. You will develop IKEA Home smart learning solutions as part of our learning portfolio to enable IKEA co-workers in our stores and service offices and other customer-facing touch points to develop their competence to meet our customers in the best possible way. 

Your main responsibilities in this assignment will include: 

  • Identify short- and long-term competence and learnings needs related to our growing IKEA Home smart business for co-workers facing the customer or working with customer-facing communication in both digital or physical touch points.  
  • Work cross organization with multiple stakeholders and markets to understand the gap, and to develop and implement action plans to bridge the competence gaps.  
  • To develop highly professional and state-of-the-art learning solutions for the IKEA Home smart Sales competence area, according to the learning development process, guidelines and framework. 
  • To work in a close co-operation with the areas of expertise to maintain and continuously further develop the learning solution development portfolio. 
  • To secure availability of the learning solutions in the portfolio and on relevant digital channels and platforms. And to ensure that the right channels are in place for all knowledge sharing. 
  • To lead the work to create or brief the learning solution development according to given scope in agreed time and cost meeting the business needs. 
  • To enable and facilitate an efficient and effective dissemination of knowledge to our IKEA Home smart community of ambassadors and stakeholders across IKEA.  
  • To lead the review process of existing learning solutions and working in close collaboration with the content owners to ensure that content is relevant and up to date. 
  • To follow up efficiency and effectiveness of learning solutions, to continuously improve quality of IKEA Home smart learning range within the area of responsibility 

Qualifications

You as a person can easily build strong and trustful relationships with multiple stakeholders on different levels. You know the value of creating a simple learning offer and trainings with clear content adapted to the different target groups.

  • Have a knowledge and experience in developing state-of-the-art and innovative learning solutions in a business context. 
  • Have a solid understanding of the Learning in the Business approach. 
  • Have a broad insight into development and trends in the field of competence development, learning and behavioral change. 
  • Have proven indirect leadership and project management capabilities. 
  • Have an ability to work with both a long-term strategic agenda and short-term operational tasks. 
  • Have strong communication skills, together with being structured and well-organized. 
  • Excellent language skills in English, both written and spoken.
