Job Description

Main duties:

Manage a variety of environmental/health/safety (EHS) activities to ensure that the organization complies with external EHS regulations and standards as well as internal environmental policies and EHSS management systems;

Develop and implement policies and procedures so that the organization meets established EHS targets (for example reducing risk of accidents and injury, minimizing emissions, recycling waste, etc.);

Monitor and evaluate the organization’s overall EHS performance to identify recurring problems;

Provide expertise and advice on EHS issues to functional or operational area managers to help them manage their EHS responsibilities;

Maintain a positive relationships with the local community, environmental groups, or other stakeholders who are impacted by, or interested in, the environmental and safety performance of the organization;

Keep up-to-date with proposed and actual changes in EHS regulations;

Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures;

Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics.

Qualifications

Our requirements:

Higher education in professional field is required (valid qualification in occupational health and safety);

Proven of at least 5 years professional experience in a similar position in a production company;

Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines;

Ability to create and maintain reports and develop relevant policies;

Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability;

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities;

Ability to work amongst a wide variety of functions and management levels;

Very good knowledge of English and Polish is obligatory;

Change management, problem-solving, continuous improvement mindset;

Ability to share knowledge

Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment

A "hands-on" attitude, proactive, self-dependent, able to drive OHS initiatives

High sense of responsibility, meticulousness and commitment
