IKEA Components holds a unique position within the IKEA value chain. We develop and supply IKEA with customer friendly component solutions for better products – and better homes. This includes a responsibility for selected components and raw-material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers. IKEA Components also have the assignment to provide After Sales service of components to the end customers. Our business is global and today employs 1400 people based mainly in Sweden, Slovakia and China. 

We are currently on an exciting journey expanding from three to nine categories. IKEA Components will be responsible for the development and sourcing of the IKEA retail equipment range, a range that is an important part of the IKEA identity. And soon IKEA Industry activities within purchase – todays Division Purchase – will transition to IKEA Components with an extended scope to bundle volumes, source and supply to all relevant home furnishing suppliers. All with the joint ambition to deliver more customer value together, reduce the total supply cost and continue to grow our business and people.

Right now we are looking for a Data & Analytics Manager

Job Description

In this role you will lead the Business Intelligence Team and the Business Analysts Team and develop IKEA Component data and analytics agenda, operationally as well as strategically. 
The task is both challenging and inspiring and requires an understanding of the technical parts in Business Intelligence, turning data into information but it also gives a great possibility to really set the scene for decision making in all parts of our business.

It is key that you can build strong networks but also to support and challenge the team in finding new ways. 

We are offering you the following assignment:

-    Lead the full transformation of data into information and insights – meaning a responsibility for the delivery of accurate reports and KPIs in our business intelligence platform as well as insights and analysis results to your business partners. 
-    Work closely with leaders and other stakeholders to give the prerequisites to develop the business
-    Take lead in developing the front-end Business Intelligence experience for our co-workers but also in transforming the back-end parts to meet future needs and demands 
-    Together with CFO lead the Business Steering matrix in IKEA Components and set the strategic plan for the coming years
-    Be responsible for recruitment, development, performance management, retention, and succession plans for co-workers directly in your team.
-    In phases of fluctuating workload, secure external capacity with our consulting partners.

You will report to Process & Digital Manager and be direct manager for a team working with Business Intelligence and Business Analytics. 
 

Qualifications

To succeed and shine in this role: 

You have solid experience in leading and developing a diverse team with specialists from different areas. You understand the needs of your business partners and can translate them into concrete solutions having capacity and capabilities of your team in mind.

Your passion for business intelligence and your good understanding of how data, information and business activities are related will help you to accomplish this. Being very familiar with the customary solutions and concepts in the area of BI and advanced analytics is important in this role. 

In addition to securing the daily routines, you can work on a conceptual level and develop and promote long-term strategies. You have the ability to lead and inspire people with different backgrounds, making sure that they can grow and develop.
