The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer-friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and supply of raw materials, components and fittings. IKEA Components is part of the Inter IKEA group and shares the IKEA vision and values. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. Through co-operation with IKEA Purchasing and Logistic areas, we are also represented at several other sites around the world.

Job Description

  • Contribute to the creation and operational implementation of the HR action plan
  • Contribute to build business competence and leadership development by supporting managers and co-workers according to agreed development plans
  • To be the local HR speaking partner, supporting implementation of competence development
  • Contribute to the positioning of IKEA as an attractive place to work and the preferred employer in the relevant market
  • Support in attracting, recruiting and maintaining talents based on business needs and facilitating competence flow
  • Provide support to co-workers and managers that helps building competence and facilitate career paths and succession planning
  • Act as a cultural role model in ways that demonstrate the IKEA values
  • Provide support and advice to co-workers and managers with regards to co-worker relations
  • Contribute to secure and verify HR-related compliance with the labor laws and internal and external regulations. Take actions in case of deviations or improvement potential
  • Secure good quality relations with local external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Level of understanding/knowledge is "high" in own areas of expertise, good in the other areas
  • Understanding of IKEA HR Idea and our Culture & Values
  • Understanding of Range &Supply People Strategies
  • Knowledge of IKEA people related approaches
  • Expert knowledge of relevant HR processes and tools
  • Knowledge of local employment legislations, coworker relations and labor market situations and trends
  • Lead the relevant area's of expertise with the business and people strategies in mind
  • Ability to build trust and relationships through good communication and documentation skills
  • Have a structured approach and perform with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Communicate in a clear and effective way, ability to transfer knowledge
