Now we start the work to set up the technical services needed to support an IT landscape that will be developed and operated in a hybrid cloud model. The technical services we deliver will enable the IT landscape to transform and take leverage on cloud computing services. The technical services delivery will be part of IKEA Product Information Management programme (IPIM) in IKEA of Sweden. These services will enable us to create a better IKEA. • Lead and manage the work with the different topologies that the integration platform is provisioned to. The topologies are currently:
  • On-Prem
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Azure
• Be responsible for the architecture and design of the infrastructure platforms
• Provide expert knowledge within provisioning of infrastructure
• Provide expert knowledge of automation within provisioning
• Provide expert knowledge regarding monitoring of core infrastructure
• Work with various technical Streams to perform impact analysis on key initiatives and to finalize functional and non-functional requirements

·         Involved in capacity planning and performance management of all running environments

• Technical Liaison between Infrastructure platform and related on-boarding projects
• Provide technical assistance and mentoring to teams
• Provide insight into how a technical baseline is operated, from an operational perspective (Itil3)
• Be responsible for input to the Life Cycle Management Tactical plan that stretches over 18 month

To be successful in this role you need to:

• Have solid experience and a strong belief in the IKEA leadership approach
• Have a deep knowledge in technical products in general and how the connect
• Good experience with cloud technologies preferably Azure, AWS
• Familiar with API Management and API gateway policies
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflow
• Have working experience with some of the following technologies:
  • Linux
  • Kubernetes
  • Ansible Tower
  • Ansible Scripting
  • Database experience of some sort, preferably Oracle RDBMS or Mongo
  • Middleware products (Oracle Weblogic Server)
  • Navigate within the domain of Enterprise Networking
• Have a heartfelt understanding of the importance of code standards within an Enterprise such as IKEA
• Have a deep understanding of various design and architectural patterns
• Having a proven experience from earlier work within the product and infrastructure domain
• Have knowledge about integration and system development
• Be fascinated by technology and what it can do for IKEA
• Be curious, eager to find better ways and committed to remove manual work whenever possible
