Our Supplying system landscape is grouped into different Development Areas and today the Development Area Need Planning & Balancing within Supply Chain Design & Planning supports mainly in quantifying what, where and when we plan to buy, store and replenish in order to reach sales goals at lowest cost along with finding most efficient way to balance the supply and capacity. Main solutions in our portfolio are DSP Fulfillment, Supply Chain Matrix, SCPIX, and Supply Plan Information. Majority of our solutions are built on Blue Yonder ERP solutions.

Job Description

As a Business Analyst within Need and Balancing team you shall be part of different Projects, responsible for movement within Portfolio and also provide your expertise in different Blue Yonder Solutions. 

The team consists of several Solution Owners, Business Analysts, Process Developers  and Solution Architects working together developing user friendly business solutions.
As a Business Analyst you will mainly work with following:

  • Analyze business needs and requirements to define and specify new functionality and design in digital solutions, supporting the IKEA Need Planning & Balancing users and stakeholders spread across the globe
  • Work closely together with Need Planning & Balancing process and business representatives to maximize the value for the organization with a strong and relevant business solutions.
  • Contribute to the creation of solution documentation in co-operation with process/business teams. Contribute to the creation of the learning offer for the solution including training materials and delivery of training. 
  • Ability to lead the Portfolio along with Development Area Leaders of Need and Balancing.

  • It would be a great advantage if you have experience from working with Need Planning & Balancing Processes and also have some knowledge around BY ERP Solutions. Process Expertise will be an advantage to drive the Portfolio and Agile ways of working for the team.
