About you

You have a desire to help your colleagues be more effective with the digital tools they are provided with at work. You are an engineer with hands-on experience working with identity governance, authentication, role assignments, security policies and business requirements. It’s with strong empathy and understanding of the end-user experience, particularly with topics such as access requests, multi-factor authentication and account management complexity, that you bring value for the business.  

You are curious, have a strong capability to solve problems, and are a real team player who is driven by togetherness, simplicity and user satisfaction. Your constant focus of future developments, doesn’t stop you to to find solutions in the “here and now”.

As a person you are appreciated for your “DevOps mindset”, your strong sense of prioritisation and for your way of building trustful relations with stakeholders, colleagues and users. You create impact and inspiration regardless of function or formal reporting lines and you understand the importance of process alignment with business stakeholders to deliver results.

You will bring solid understanding of identity and access management principles (including identity governance, access management and data privacy compliance) and identity and access management technologies, particularly in a hybrid (ground/cloud) Microsoft environment (Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, Sailpoint Identity IQ, CyberArk and Okta). People will turn to you for specialist know-how of protocols and languages such as OIDC, SAML, SCIM, OAuth, transitive federation, etc.  

Some things, like general understanding of HR master systems, of user management in cloud and on-premise contexts, will make this job easier. However, it’s your commitment to the users with energy to champion their needs will make you successful.

About the job

As an IAM Engineer for Digital Workplace you will strongly contribute to make IKEA a great place to work. You participate and drive activities that enable every co-worker and organisation across the Inter IKEA Group to strengthen and simplify their performance and impact. You will be the functional expert for topics related to Identity and Access Management.      

Day to day, you would do this and more:

  • Bring functional user and incident resolution support 
  • Maintain and develop solution management processes and administrative flows
  • Create and execute training plans and development of learning and communication content 
  • Validate functionality and design for continuous improvement
  • Work cross-functionally with the team to maximise the delivery of value.
