Right now, we have the opportunity for you to join the Sustainability Development team for a 15-month assignment. Job Description

As Sustainability Development Leader, you will lead exploration and development projects, mainly connected to IKEAs sustainability strategy to deliver competence to deploy solutions into the core businesses Range & Supply. In all projects you will work closely together with internal stakeholders from sustainability, core business range &/or core business supply as well as external stakeholders and experts. Having developed clear direction and positions within certain topics, you will be the competence support for the organisation during deployment.   
  
Main responsibilities:
• Lead projects connected to social sustainability
• Create and manage project plans, ensure the project progresses according to plan and within scope
• Lead and manage change
• Assure the execution of project related change management activities
• Procurement and contract management related to projects
• Manage evaluation and handover of project results to core businesses

Qualifications

As a person you are able to lead and drive areas of responsibility on your own, or through others. You are analytical when it comes to evaluating different aspects of an issue and make fact-based decisions. You enjoy being the spider in the web between different stakeholders within the organization, leading business, and people together. 

It is preferable if you have a good knowledge of product development &/or supply chain in addition to social sustainability knowledge.

Knowledge/Experience:
• Good project leadership abilities
• Stakeholder management skills
• Goal oriented and business minded
• Knowledge and experience connected to sustainability, preferably human rights
• Skilled in communicating and working together with co-workers across all levels of the organisation
• A structured approach in analysis and development of solutions
• Ability to prioritize and take decisions
