About IKEA Planning Experience (IPEX)

The goal of IPEX is to support and empower customers to find their personal best home furnishing solutions. We run and develop digital solutions used by customers and co-workers enabling them to design homes and home furnishing solutions for the entire IKEA range for all IKEA retailers. Part of our portfolio are planning solutions for Kitchens, Bathrooms, Storage solutions, Beds... Our next big step ahead will be to enable customers to design their full homes.

Our customers should experience an inspiring, fun, simple and rewarding planning journey based on their needs and preferences. Our co-workers and service partners should experience a fun, efficient and unbroken sales process.

The solutions and capabilities we develop are an integral part of the entire seamless buying and selling experience and a key contributor to converting visitors into happy customers and to engaging with our customers from the start. Utilizing data around and about our products to create more personalized experiences is an integral part of the work we do.

IPEX deliver solutions to all IKEA retailers spanning over 50 markets worldwide and over 400 stores and IKEAs digital channels. All solutions are made to help customers and co-workers in all customer meetings, from a mobile phone to the largest IKEA store in the world.

Being the Quality leader in the IPEX team

As the Quality leader in the IPEX team you will be part of a great team and create digital solutions that enable customers to design any space in their homes and businesses and configure home furnishing solutions.

You will lead and continuously refine the IPEX Quality approach and agenda as one element of the IPEX strategy and ways of working, safeguarding that we create solutions that can be experienced by our customers and co-workers without disturbances, and increasing efficiency in our ways of working through continuous and embedded focus on quality.

You will build and lead the IPEX quality and test community, ensuring that we utilize synergies and continuously build competence. That includes establishing and evolving formal QA processes and overseeing all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure our quality goals are met.

You will interact with and coach our product teams in their testing and working out test strategies as well as create test tooling and data generation, including an overall risk management as well as mitigation strategy planning.

You will interact and collaborate with stakeholders across IKEA, franchisees and customers, to understand needs and synergies. Contributing to optimize ways of working within IPEX and beyond is always on your mind.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role

You are passionate about life at home and creating seamless and convenient experiences for customers and co-workers.

You bring extensive experience and knowledge in software development and are fully familiar with agile/ devops practices and how the quality aspect is an integrated part of the development. Ideally, you have experience in driving quality work in an organization of cross-functional product teams.

You bring solid experience as a specialist and leader in Quality as an integrated part of software development. Driving quality aspects and supporting others in creating high quality solutions drives you.

You are an experienced leader with the ability to coach our product teams around Quality as an integrated part ion Software development, helping to ensure that we use our resources in the best way to achieve the strongest outcome.

You make mistakes sometimes that keep you evolving and learning as you are not afraid to find new ways to solve a challenging task together with your colleagues.

You enjoy an agile and iterative, yet structured way of working and achieving results together with a team in a flexible environment, but also have a strong individual drive to deliver high quality results on time. You have great communication and networking skills and are fluent in written and spoken English. 

Additional Information

It is a full time position (40h/week). Travels may be required in the future. The position is located in Malmö, Sweden.
