To our head office of IKEA Industry in Malmö, Sweden we are now recruiting an IT Support. In this role you have an important function giving co-workers the best daily support and guidance. No day will be the same. In this role you both need to be an everyday problem solver, an adviser and also work proactively to identify needs and actions.  

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US

In this role it requires that you easily adopt to different people and situations. Service and support comes first for you. Being service-oriented is a must and you need the technique and skills to ask the right questions to fully understand each situation. You don’t stop to look for the answers which will lead to the best solution for the users and the business.

Support and service is not only about solving problems. We also expect you to give advice and guide us into new technical solutions that makes every digital day more efficient and stable. During normal times many of us are travelling and now we are working from home. The role requires both remote and face to face support in the office. 

You will be responsible for that the office infrastructure and equipment are meeting the needs. Making sure that life cycle management and acquiring new hardware in any area are done in accordance with our internal rules. You will be the go to person in all aspects of technical stuff used in an office environment.   

At IKEA Industry we work with a standardized device and server platform. This brings a good and secured distribution of our devices including security and software controls. In your role you will work daily with these task to give the best experience for our users.

Your experience is valuable

You will be the first point of professional support for our digital users so we highly value if you have extensive experience in the traditional used modern workplace solutions such as Microsoft 365 workloads and IT Service Management tools. Foundational understanding of infrastructural principles and practices used in a digitally connected environment is required.

Together as a team

The Digital Arena is a part of Industrial Strategies at IKEA Industry. The team’s mission is to provide rock solid digital solutions for manufacturing. You will report to Digital Operations Manager and belong to our infrastructure and operations team. Occasionally you will also work together with people from the IT community or other peers from our factories.   

Additional Information

This is a full-time permanent position. The office is located in Malmö close to Hyllie station. It is a benefit if you live close to Malmö.
