Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduces 2,000 new products around the world with a total range is almost 10,000 products. So what happens in Älmhult definitely doesn't stay in Älmhult. It reaches practically every corner of the globe.

Throughout the IKEA value chain and together with relevant stakeholders Product Risk & Compliance. A unit leads the risk management process and turn product risks into improvements, innovations and business opportunities. Product Risk and Compliance also monitors range and product compliance throughout the IKEA value chain as well as lead deviations management process and turn product deviations into learnings, improvements, innovations and business opportunities. 

The Product Compliance Navigation team leads and maintains for example a total R&P Compliance overview and analyzes aggregated data to derive strategic learnings from them. 

We are now looking for two Product Compliance Navigators

1 position is permanent
1 position is temporary 01/02/21—31/08/22

Job Description

You will take active leadership in establishing and implementing a product Compliance Navigation framework including definitions, tools and working methods. In this you will need to proactively challenge & support all stakeholders across the IKEA value chain in order to identify and collect indicators and evaluate data to be able to support the business. You also actively take lead for Product Compliance Navigation initiatives to foster an overall compliance agenda throughout IKEA. 

Together with colleagues in Product Risk and Compliance you are an ambassador for Product Risk and Compliance in various forums and trainings. You together with you colleagues lead and develop the Product Compliance Network in the value chain in concert with Product Risk and Compliance. You also lead, develop and secure governance and ways of working in the area of proactive IKEA Product Compliance. 

Together with the team you develop and contribute to the Product Compliance Navigation, goals and priorities, based on the Product Risk & Compliance functional plans, strategies & budgets. Strengthening the IKEA Culture by sharing & living the IKEA Values every day and act with them as a guide lead business & people through empowering individuals and teams comes natural for you

Qualifications

To be successful in this role we want you to have ability to lead with a holistic view, always act with the Customer, total IKEA and Product Risk & Compliance in mind approach. An ability to have an entrepreneurial approach together with being analytical and structured, using facts, knowledge & insights is needed  Stakeholder management with strong communication and inter-personal skills and  the ability to create trustful relationships in collaborative processes, with all levels of co-workers both internal and with external partners are important to succeed in the role. 

Also to be able to handle a sometimes complex assignment and break it down to  clear tasks will be needed from you. You are used to and find it motivating to operate and balance between strategic, tactical and operational tasks. You have knowledge about and ability to navigate legal implications and confidentiality aspects. 

We also want you to have:    
•    experience in in the area of product risk and compliance.
•    good Knowledge in the area of Navigation/controlling and of analyzing large numbers of data 
•    good knowledge and understanding of the IKEA Value Chain, the development process and the prerequisites of the Supply and Retail organizations
•    strong project management skills
•    fluent in English, both spoken and written.
•    university degree within for ex. Finance or Engineering or equivalent knowledge within the broader area of Product Development acquired elsewhere
