The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to develop and supply IKEA with customer friendly component solutions for better products – and better homes. Our task is to take the responsibility for selected components and raw-material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers. IKEA Components have also the assignment to provide After Sales service of components to the end customers. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based mainly in Sweden, Slovakia and China.

Job Description

You will be leading the accounting team and have responsibility for the company accounting.  You will be in lead for developing and implementing new ways of working also considering possibilities connected to digitalization within the Finance area. You will secure the operative flow of the yearly and monthly closing of the book process and provide financial analysis and reports for various stakeholders in the organization.

Create different follow-up and statistics, handle liquidity and clearing and agenda of the taxes and other compulsory charges. You will work close together with Finance manager and support in the work with Yearly closing, audits, development projects etc. 

You also have ability to work in a structured and organized way and have the capability to communicate in a clear way and have ability to build trusted relationships. You have been working for a couple of years within accounting area and is ready to move on. You have a strong interest and energy in development of people and business. You will have 5 persons reporting to you and you will report to Finance Manager Irén Åberg.


To be successful in this role we expect you to have:

•    Ability to work in a structured and organized way
•    Capability to communicate in a clear way and build relationships
•    Ability to ensure conformity with routines, compliance and legal requirements
•    Knowledge of Inter IKEA Finance Manual
•    Good financial knowledge (University degree in Economics or corresponding knowledge)
•    Understanding of country-specific financial legislations
•    Knowledge of controlling and reporting
•    Knowledge of ERP system M3
•    Knowledge of business information tools, such as Cognos Controller, PBI, Excel, TM1
•    Fluent in English both spoken and writing

As this role includes reading and understanding Swedish law and regulations regarding tax and VAT, you need to be fluent in Swedish for this position. A couple of years of working experience within an accounting department or audit office is necessary for this role as well as strong interest and capabilities in leadership. We are working frequently with Ikeas values and we want you to do the same.
