ABOUT US
The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer-friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and supply of raw materials, components and fittings. IKEA Components is part of the Inter IKEA group and shares the IKEA vision and values. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. Through co-operation with IKEA Purchasing and Logistic areas, we are also represented at several other sites around the world.

• Understands the goals, business priorities and follow through on commitments and achieves results in line with the IKEA vision and values
• Performs and develops in current business assignment
• Communicates in a straightforward and inclusive manner and listens actively to gain information
• Co-operates with team members in other and own units to accomplish common goals
• Establishes trusting relationships with stakeholder that are maintained over time for ensuring Customs policies and country requirements are met in specific time frames to avoid costly transport delay and penalties.
• Take responsibility for the constant development to find the most efficient ways of working across functions and sites by supporting local and global rollouts, projects and initiatives.
• Demonstrates willingness and contributes to change by taking necessary actions and adapt to new circumstances
• Proactive solution based communication of logistics information for all IKEA units (e.g. new stores, projects, store initiatives etc.)
• Ensures compliance to relevant processes
• Be the subject matter expert and drive the logistics knowledge in all communications.

Knowledge:

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft excel
• Excellent business knowledge and mindset
• Knowledge/interest of market & global trends
• Knowledge of processes in area of responsibility
