About the job 

In Inter IKEA we are on a journey of creating long term success for IKEA, together, through the development of digital capabilities. This is a transformation journey which requires a new technology foundation to make it easier to better serve our franchisees, customers and co-workers, at any time or place. 

We have started the work to set up the technical services needed to support an IT landscape that will be developed and operated in a hybrid multi-cloud model. The technical services we deliver will enable the IT landscape to transform and take leverage on cloud computing services. We will contribute to IKEA direction by making it possible for any 'XaaS' to be translated into an affordable, accessible and sustainable product.

As Platform Owner – Cloud for the Chinese market you will bring together the digital development software, cloud deployments, application programming interfaces, data integrations and more into practical, tested and deployable ways of working according to country and provincial regulations. You will enable business capabilities in the IKEA value chain through cloud solutions, services and ways of working together with internal and external stakeholders in the IKEA digital eco-system, authorities and partners.  

You will be part of enabling a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer and customer experience on the Chinese market by: 

• Contribute to the implementation of the Inter IKEA technology direction and strategy around cloud adoption  
• Being a main contributor to building the overall platform roadmap and to take platform decisions and prioritisations within set guardrails specific to local requirements. 
• Leading the development and management of cloud platforms based on Azure and AWS, in China, meaning design, implement, deploy and maintain the cloud environments from development to production 
• Engage with consumers of the cloud services to provide hands-on support, expertise and guidance (technical AND non-technical) to enable them to leverage from the cloud in best possible way.  
• Develop capabilities in our cloud platforms to support a self-serve delivery model 
• Work with automation and infrastructure pipelines (Infrastructure as code) 
• Drive continuous improvements of platforms, tools and processes connected to the cloud services 
• Ensure security aspect of the cloud services in order to protect and secure IKEAs brand 
• Stay up to date with latest digital trends and cloud services that IKEA can benefit from

• Cloud services including Azure/21ViaNet or/and AWS/Sinnet/NWCD cloud platforms in China 
• Leading and supporting hands-on the deployment of customer facing products to the Chinese market with your versatile leadership 
• Cloud Centre of Excellence concept 
• Working according to a hybrid multi-cloud model and from developing cloud solutions using containers & serverless architecture 
• Implementing a landing zone concept 
• Building infrastructure automation (orchestration, provisioning and configuration) through code 
• Implementing policy driven governance in Azure and/or AWS 
• Implementing solutions complying with CCL (Chinese Cybersecurity Law) and MLPS (China's Multi-Level Protection Scheme) requirements 
• Cost optimization practices in cloud 
• IT Service Management & ITIL in relation to Cloud Management 
• The following supporting solutions: ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Confluence and Jira

This is a full-time position and it is located in Shanghai, China. You will be employed by our legal entity Inter IKEA Management Consulting (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. (Learning Centre Shanghai).  
You are going to be part of our Digital & IT unit, mainly based in Europe and you will be the bridge to the Chinese market.
