Job Description

As a Solution Architect at ICOMP you will work with the design and implementation of a robust and scalable IT solutions, to meet the business demands of today and tomorrow. Together with the architecture team you will set the standards and design patterns to form our IT landscape for years to come. You will support projects and other change initiatives with solution designs and technical expertise.

Furthermore you will:

  • Shape ideas into solution architectures by considering non-functional aspects such as maintainability, scalability, usability, performance, security and time-to-market for new functionality
  • Documenting and communicating solution architectures with stakeholders and lead the technical implementation
  • Proactively work with improvements together with key stakeholders
  • Capturing, developing and documenting reusable design patterns to streamline development activities and to secure consistency over time
  • Keeping up-to-date with market trends and advice on opportunities for how new IT technology can support our business

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are having a huge interest about technology and that you share and live the IKEA culture and values. You have an education in information technology, computer science or equivalent, as well as deep technical skills and extensive experience from software development and implementation of IT solutions. You know how to lead yourself and have a good ability to break down and communicate complex problems in a clear way.

You possess the following knowledge and experience:

  • Creating, maintaining and implementing solution architecture and design and working with design- and modelling tools
  • Vast experience from leading technical development from requirement to production
  • Previous experience from working with different technology platforms; experience from Infor M3 and/or cloud-based integration platforms is considered a plus
  • Working with agile way of working
