About the role
The Risk & Compliance function at Inter IKEA Systems is founded in a strong IKEA Culture, with unique values, and has a long-term view on doing good business, helping us to create trustworthy and sustainable relationships with all stakeholders.

Our customers, co-workers and many other stakeholders are demanding more and more from IKEA and therefore our approach to risk management and compliance is anchored in a holistic perspective of the IKEA Concept and Brand governance.

We build, protect and strengthen the IKEA Brand by providing support to pro-actively anticipate, identify and navigate through opportunities and risks in a business oriented and compliant way.

IConduct is our code of conduct for all IKEA franchisees and outlines a set of business requirements to ensure responsible business and protect the IKEA Brand. The Risk & Compliance function leads the development and implementation of the Health, Safety & Security (HSS) requirements in IConduct.
 

About the assignment
To support both Inter IKEA Systems organisation and the IKEA franchisees, we are looking for a leader with expert knowledge and extensive experience in Health, Safety & Security. In the role you will be part of the team leading the development and implementation of IConduct and the internal standards for CBF. This includes development of the IConduct requirements on Health, Safety & Security and internal Inter IKEA Systems steering documents including supporting material, like working methods, processes and tools. You will also be part of the development of the compliance verification tools and review team at CBF.

In the role you will support and advice internally at CBF as well as towards IKEA franchisees with subject matter expertise. You will lead and coordinate the support to IKEA development projects globally in the area of Health, Safety & Security. In the CBF organisation you will provide operational Health, Safety & Security (S&S) support and advice with implementation of HS&S measures at CBF sites and review the effectiveness of the measures in place.

It will be important to maintain strong relationships through a network of internal and external subject matter experts in the IKEA value chain with the objective to share knowledge, good practices and experience.

You have deep knowledge and experience in Health, Safety & Security. You have a strong understanding of concepts, theories, principles and practices related to Health, Safety & Security and good knowledge of the most relevant legal requirements and international standards around these topics. You have good understanding of the IKEA governance structure, IKEA business requirements and internal steering documents. Ideally, you have an understanding of the principles of compliance, audit and internal control.


A few more details for you
You will work in a small, dedicated and energetic team having fun while delivering high quality output. You will be reporting to the Risk Management & Compliance manager and may be required to travel from time to time. Please send in your application for this position before 7th December 2020.
