Right we are now looking for an Information Security & Data Privacy Leader to be part of our exciting journey keeping up with technical security challenges.

Job Description

As Information Security & Data Privacy Leader, you will report to the Business Navigation & Finance Manager at ICOM. You will lead and support different areas of the business with the implementation of Information Security and Data Privacy. You will provide hands on expertise in how to manage information risks in our global environment, supporting both business and solutions development. You will also secure compliance with laws and standards. You will be a trusted speaking partner to various levels of management within ICOM.

We are looking for a strong informal leader with the vision and passion needed to lead and support our Information Security/Data Privacy objectives as well as being a partner to the business and help driving risk awareness and our opportunity focused approach. This position is placed in Älmhult, Sweden.

About the assignment
As an Information Security & Data Privacy Leader your responsibilities are:

  • Drive and coordinate the business needs to identify risks and implement Information Security and Data Privacy improvements in the organisation and the business solutions.
  • Drive the implementation of the Information Security and Data Privacy in solution development (Privacy by Design, Secure Software Development etc.).
  • Ability to discuss complex IT security topics with the IT development department and give advice to the business in a simple language on those complex topics (Secure IT architecture, integration, API, Cloud etc.).
  • Act in a proactive way in identifying existing and emerging risks and minimizing the impact of these through regular audits, inspections, follow-up and training.
  • Facilitate risk discussions and ensure that risk decisions are taken at the right level in the organisation.
  • Support to ensure compliance with Inter IKEA Group Policy’s, Standards and Rules as well as global, national and local legal demands regarding Information Security and Data Privacy.
  • Work in close partnership with our global IS/DP matrix to support, develop and implement activities according to the strategic, tactical and operational framework.
  • In collaboration with the Safety & Security Leader work on key physical/supply chain security routines from time to time.

Qualifications

About you
To be successful in this role you need to have:

  • Strong experience in how to support projects and business solutions with security and data privacy by design and default. This includes web application security, cloud security, security in IoT, API and SDLC.
  • Strong experience on both IT security and information security standards and solutions.
  • Proven experience in implementing Information Security policy and rules in an global environment
  • Understanding the business and information risks for ICOM co-workers, customers and third parties.
  • A holistic view on how Information Security measures mitigate business and information risks 
  • Strong experience with the information risk management process and ability to perform complex risk assessments, advise and support in action plans
  • Strong English language skills, both verbal and written as well as excellent communication skills in general
  • An ability to understand how the organization perceives and is affected by Information Security measures in working processes and business solutions, including IT services
  • Passion for the IKEA values and business
  • Leadership and stakeholder management experience as well as change management experience
