The Risk Management and Compliance function leads, steers and supports the business to safeguard the IKEA brand by identifying, anticipating on and navigating through opportunities and risks on the base of IKEA values and culture. Risk Management and Compliance function works closely together with the various organisational levels and provides support to; strengthen the IKEA brand and protect our assets, maintain an overall risk aware culture, steer and lead compliance activities.

Job Description

Your assignment

  • Ensure a Safe, Secure and compliant environment for all Co-Workers, Customers and Visitors by supporting identified local Safety, Security and Risk responsible to meet Internal, External demands and Regional, Global actives.
  • Execute Investigations according to the Inter IKEA Group Rule of Investigation when required
  • Lead and coordinate a Matrix organisation of local Safety, Security, Risk and Compliance responsible towards established goals within the scope of Risk Management and Compliance to ensure compliance with Inter IKEA Group Policy’s, Standards and Rules as well as national and local legal demands.
  • Support Business Stakeholders in securing compliance to the minimum standards of the Safety & Security Framework, through transferring knowledge, regular reviews, follow-ups, education and training.
  • Support Unit, and Core business Crisis Management Teams during Crisis Incidents when needed.
  • Organise and establish effective procedures so that Local Insurance Programs within the Region are analysed and properly coordinated
  • Proactively train the business to identify and document business risk, emerging risks and trends through established Risk Management process and support the Risk owners to ensure that risk-related opportunities are appropriately identified, measured, mitigated and communicated
  • Support the Business Stakeholders within the Region, with the implementation and adherence to Supply Chain Security Requirements. Provide assurance and follow up on the Regional level of compliance and Investigations
  • Support the development and implementation of Reporting, Tools and Structure for Risk Management related Incidents with a focus on Safety & Security
  • Identify talents and develop people to secure succession planning

Your profile

  • Extensive knowledge of relevant health, safety and security policies, standards, rules, manuals, review method, tools and working methods within Inter IKEA units.
  • Proficient in the Risk Management Process and Crisis Management
  • Understanding of Range and Supply business processes and needs within the region
  • To lead and support investigation process
  • Insurance policies and claim handling procedures
