About the team

To support the implementation of the IKEA Concept in new and existing markets, the Retail Operation Solutions & Support team (ROSS) within Core Business Franchise is providing a Retail Package consisting of business processes and IT systems to IKEA retailers.

ROSS is connected to all IKEA franchisees. We currently support around 30 markets with approximately 70 customer meeting points. And we run an exciting expansion agenda with more markets to come.

Our efforts ultimately aim to enable the expansion and business development of the supported retailers.

As Business Navigator in ROSS you will be exposed to a broad scope of topics with focus on how to steer and navigate the expansion and business development of the Retail Package in existing and future markets.

You are an active business partner for the ROSS Management in steering the organisation in a strategic, tactical and operational way. You will contribute to the goal setting process by aggregating, validating and assessing goal submissions.

You will improve and implement KPI’s to support fact based business leadership.

You should contribute to the development of working methods and tools and share best practice.

  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing insights of actual cost spend to key stakeholders
  • Supporting the Budget and Forecast process
  • Calculating the recharges for IT-Services for the markets in scope
  • Ensure financial alignment with suppliers and retailers
  • Follow up of the contractual agreements with markets for new services
  • Support Project leaders to steer their Project Financials

About you:

As our future Business Navigator you are a self-starter and appreciate driving your own work forward as well as working together in a team.

We trust you are a strong communicator with proven ability to lead and influence.

You should be experienced in communication with different levels in the organisation. You like to communicate complex topics and figures in an understandable and inspiring way.

To succeed in the role, we believe that you have:

  • At least 5 years work experience from a business controlling or business navigation role in a large multinational company, ideally in an IT-/ Digital environment
  • Based on your strong analytical skills, you find working with numbers easy and fun and take great pride in securing accuracy in details in all the work you are responsible for
  • Ability to work under stress with many different stakeholders and keep calm when faced with complexity
  • University degree in business administration or finance.


Additional Information

This is a full time role (40 hours per week) and will be located in Malmö, Sweden.

The Business Navigator reports to the Manager Retail Operation Solutions & Support and will be a member of our Business Navigation Matrix at Core Business Franchise, connected to the Business Navigation Manager Expansion in Delft, Netherlands.
