Job Description

As a Need Planner your role is to secure availability of the product range by collaborating effectively with all supply chain partners to reach the goal of lowest possible supply chain cost. You will have the opportunity to work on a global scope, through and with supply colleagues around the world to achieve common goals! You are globally responsible for the food inventory in our distributions centers and replenish new goods according to customer need. This means that you create an executable supply plan for a given range and ensure that orders are created accordingly. Furthermore, you plan goods flow in the product change process (both phasing in and out of products), communicate and handover this plan to different function across the organization for execution. The Need Planner leads initiatives together with other function in order to secure availability for our customers. 

As a Need Planner you will also, among other assignments:
• Contribute to leading initiatives with supply chain to identify potential overstock / stock out and act on deviations
• Take lead within Sales & Supply Planning and collaborate with value chain to secure agreed service levels at lowest total cost
• Proactively create, execute and follow up need plans on operational and tactical level
• Contribute to defining the optimal replenishment solution, together with various supply chain stakeholders to have the optimal replenishment set-up
• Lead and/or contribute to additional assignments within or across the function

Qualifications

In order to shine and succeed as a Need Planner we wish that you:

• Have proven experience in need planning or within supply chain, preferably in a global environment and/or have a university degree in business/economics/logistics;
• Enjoy working with analysis of large sets of data as well as can work with planning tools and systems;
• Have a problem solving approach with strong analytical skills and the ability to think conceptually;
• Can work with a holistic perspective, from supplier to customer, as well have detail orientation when necessary;
• Enjoy working towards fixed time frames and deadlines as well as drive assignments remotely 
• Are comfortable to take the lead, motivate and inspire others and you do this with a clear and convincing communication; 
• Are fluent in English, both written and verbal; 
• Lead by example and bring out the best in others in the team
