Job Description

Do you have the unique combination of entrepreneur spirit, great analytical skills and a long love story with numbers?

If yes – this can be your next challenge!

You will be part of a new supply chain team at IKEA Home smart when the organisation takes the step into becoming a BA. You will act as the link between Commercial and Supply, turning in depth analysis of our sales history into an accurate forecast that is used to secure the availability of our products around the globe. Furthermore you will be the Supply Organisation’s speaking partner with the Retail organisation, predicting when, where and in what quantities the products will be sold in our stores. In the role of Demand Planner for IKEA Home smart you will also have a responsibility supporting and overlooking the total demand for Home smart related product in all parts of our range. You will contribute in building a smarter, slimmer and more cost-effective supply chain, enabling availability at lowest possible cost!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • solid experience from supply chain, ideally with some years of experience in demand planning
  • strong analytical skills with a problem solving approach
  • the ability to work with a holistic perspective, through the whole chain from supplier to customer, as well as the capability to be in the fine details
  • deep knowledge of Excel and enjoying building reports

It’s a merit if you have relevant experience from supply chain from retail but not a must. Since IKEA of Sweden is a truly international environment, you need to be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
