 In IKEA we work together across the value chain to be affordable and accessible for many more of the many people with our fantastic product range. At IKEA of Sweden we are responsible to develop and supply the IKEA product range offer. This is done in our Home Furnishing Businesses. In the Sales matrix, we work with different assignments supporting the Home Furnishing Businesses, aiming to ensure that the customers successfully meet the IKEA range offer in all of our touchpoints all over the world.

Easy Buying & Selling is part of Sales matrix organization with the assignment to lead the business development of services and the development of the After Sales offer which includes total range offer components, a global common structure and communication. With Services and After Sales in our business, Easy Buying and Selling is also delivering to the circular business transformation. In our communication assignment, this includes a responsibility to deliver a framework for circular communication and communication for our future Care & Repair range.

As Marketing & Communication Communicator in the Easy Buying & Selling team, you create and secure high quality communication content for our consumer facing touch points to make the buying process easy and smooth for our customers. You are also part of securing a framework for how IKEA communicate circularity to customers and create communication for a new care and repair offer, enabling customers to prolong product life.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Analyze and identify the need of easy buying and selling communication content, based on insights and customer needs, in order to decide what, when and how to communicate for all consumer-facing media and channels.
  • Manage the execution of the communication production in the different media activation projects
  •  Approve, follow up and secure that communication messages are fulfilled in the communication execution.
  • Proactively inform communication production suppliers about upcoming plans to secure the content readiness
  • Work with easy buying and selling from communication perspective throughout the Product life cycle and the customer experience journey.
  • Contribute to the Marketing & Communication budget, as well as to the yearly Communication Plan on a tactical level.
  • Contribute to the matrix by creating and co-leading the development of common ways of working, tools and methods, by having an open innovative mind-set.

You are guided by simplicity and always strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering high quality communication. Since services and after sales also caters a lot to prolong product life it’s also a big benefit if you have a passion for sustainability and circular communication.

You have several years of experience working with communication, and the ability to apply a range and communication direction to product communication. You enjoy taking initiatives and to lead and drive product- and range communication content with a customer perspective. You are detailed, structured and analytical end enjoy working cross functions and organisations.

You are a true ambassador of IKEA culture and values and you are fluent in English, both spoken and written
