We are now looking for one student that wants to write their Master thesis at IKEA Range & Supply from January to June 2021.

You will look in our product development process applied to some selected projects, mapping the value stream and together with our teams you will define the recommended best practices to reduce the Time To Market.
The main steps will be:
•             Value stream mapping
•             Identify wastes
•             Design a set of best practices to create a smooth value-adding activities flow
•             Implement the best practices together with a development team

We are looking for you passionate in people and processes, with a strong motivation to understand why we are working in the way we are.
You are a self-driven person, well structured, with strong analytical skills. 
You know how processes are designed and you are familiar with Product Development Process as well Lean Product Development.
If we would have a specific education/program in mind then Product development Msc is preferred.

You have strong communication skills in English and the ability to create confidence and build relations.

To take part of the internship, you have to be enrolled in an Internship course provided at university level/Internship agreement with the university. 

IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduce 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.
