Inter IKEA Range & Supply, R&S, is a core business within Inter IKEA Group, responsible for developing and supplying the global IKEA range. IKEA of Sweden AB, or IoS, is one of two core units within Range & Supply, and is responsible for developing and determining the IKEA range and making it available to stores and customers all over the world. IoS is based in Älmhult – the heart of IKEA and the center of IKEA range development and supply chain.

Right now we are looking for three Marketing & Communication Technical Specialists, two for Business Area (BA) Bedroom and one for Business Area (CHILI) Children’s & Lighting,

In the role as Marketing &Communication Technical Specialist your will work on making the buying process of our range as easy and smooth as possible for our customers, ensuring that they have what they need to make a purchase decision. Examples can include communication on packaging, 3D-models, planners or configurators, measurements, material and care instructions, technical and legal texts etc.

Your main responsibilities include:

• To analyse and identify the need of communication content of a technical nature, based on real customer needs
• To secure the customer perspective in technical communication throughout the product development process
• To create and follow-up technical communication content, working closely with Range & Product Engineering
• To brief and lead communication production suppliers to secure content readiness
• To contribute to the annual Marketing & Communication Action Plan with a technical communication perspective, as well as impact on budget
• To contribute to the M&C Matrix by co-creating common ways of working, tools and methods, by having an open innovative mind-set

We are looking for you with passion for communication! You are guided by simplicity and you always strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering high quality communication. You have solid experience working with communication, with the ability to turn complex technical information into customer friendly, simple documentation.

You enjoy working in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment even when it includes complex assignments or tight deadlines. You enjoy taking initiatives and lead the development of product communication content with a customer perspective, and have the ability to juggle competing priorities

You are detail oriented bring structure into your tasks. You have excellent communication skills securing the IKEA tone of voice and have the ability to networking across functions and organizations.
