About the job

The IT Delivery teams at IKEA Franchise provide IT operations and user support for digital platforms and foundations in a shared IT totality through all IKEA. Together, we create and deliver towards a common roadmap driven by business needs and technology opportunities. You, together with the teams, deliver a strong IT foundation including connectivity, integration, cybersecurity, data and more while continuously support and improve the current platforms and services.

As IT Infrastructure Service Responsible you will lead the development and delivery of IT connectivity infrastructure services end-to-end. You work and lead many interesting opportunities in operational excellence, expanding our capabilities with current but with focus on new technology platforms & foundations.  
You will be challenged to set the standard for fit for purpose IT connectivity platform services, based on both high and low level design models, supported by a portfolio of suppliers. Next to that you will be supporting the strategic transition from on premise connectivity to further cloud based delivery models. You will work with a blend of Agile and ITIL based processes and enable Dev-Ops delivery models, always looking for the next technology opportunities that bring value to IKEA business and customers.

You will support IKEA with a strong Digital platform & IT foundation by:

• Operating, developing, architecting and delivering IT Connectivity and services to agreed requirements without compromising the security.
• Developing and delivering to connectivity roadmaps as well as contribute to Digital and IT frameworks for network architecture and network security
• Supporting multiple business projects and assignments with competence to deliver user-centric products and services
• Continuously improving existing- and establish new- connectivity technologies and services
• Leading and working cross functionally across IKEA to develop and deliver connectivity technology and services that enable the business to contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer, always with the customer in focus
• Orchestrating great connectivity using IKEA frameworks, new delivery models and multiple delivery partners

About you

You are passionate and curious about the assignment of IKEA Franchise, and see how Digital and Information Technology can enable our way forward to create a unique and successful meeting with the customer. You are a down-to-earth team player who is eager to take initiatives and achieve results that deliver to a longer term strategic agenda as well as to the operational and tactical implementation of available and supported platform  backend IT infrastructure for multi speed IT technology foundations. You are appreciated for your way with people and ability to build trustful relationships through effective collaboration and delivery of results in agile ways of working. You strive for constant renewal of IT services and processes to move our business forward by providing platforms, services and solutions with a customer centric mind set.

You would bring solid experience and knowledge (at least 3 years) in designing, managing and developing IT connectivity and a thorough understanding of different connectivity technologies such as Cloud Networking, next generation Network security solutions, Switching & Routing, (SD)WAN, Cisco product stack and Wireless technologies. You have been driving technology shifts with focus on cloud, multi cloud and hybrid cloud transitions, without compromising on security, in end to end fast-changing business transformation digital ecosystems. You are used to work in DevOps environments with continuous automation and deployments through PlatOps methods.
