Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager at IKEA Industry Vyatka, you will get the chance to be a part of creating and maintaining long lasting relations with our customers. You are responsible for sales, production and purchasing planning, the warehouse and external logistics. Another part of your responsibilities is to be the link between the plant, IKEA Purchasing organization in Russia and our central division for purchase in terms of need analysis and requirements of raw materials. You are a member of the management team and report to the Managing director.

As a Supply Chain manager, you will lead the team of Sales/ Purchase/ Planning/ Logistics/warehouse departments based on IKEA values and in accordance with the IKEA People Strategy. This includes leading the team to perform and deliver outstanding customer value and to work with team development. The focus areas are: execution and follow up on business goals, sales, products availability & supply management, strategic and operational production planning according to sales demand, purchasing process organisation in accordance to production plan, warehouse management, cost control and optimisation, new product sales strategy development in cooperation with  sales & purchasing team and contract management.

You will be located in Krasnaya Polyana, Kirov region, Russia.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you need to have several years of working experience within the logistics field as well as university degree within logistics or similar. Experience from wood-based business is beneficial as is experience of living and working in Russia.  Furthermore, you need to have a customer focus and the ability to create customer focus among the co-workers.
 

You have an including leadership style and leadership according to the IKEA leadership capabilities and Values. You are ambitious, positive, and flexible and have the ability to stand stress. You are used to work in a high pace and have the conscious mind set to be able to find cost-efficient solutions throughout the value chain. It is an advantage if you have been working with similar task before and beneficial if you also have experience in working according to LEAN principles, in order to understand the customer´s need. You are a good communicator and express yourself well both verbally and in writing. You are fluent in English and Russian.
