Requirement Engineering is looking for a Product Requirement Specialist to support the development and verification process, with identification, documentation and interpretation of relevant national and international regulations and standards for electrical products with a focus on Kitchen and Home Appliances. Your main tasks is to identify, develop and document correct and clear product requirements and creating pre-requisites for a safe and compliant range of IKEA products. You are responsible to build a network of stakeholders in external alliances and standardization organizations, to be able to influence relevant new and existing legislation, regulations and standards. Internally you´ll work in close collaboration with different product development and product engineering teams. Depending on the demands on the Requirement Engineering team, your area of responsibility might vary slightly and you will have the possibility to engage in and broaden your knowledge in other requirement areas as well.

Qualifications

You have a good knowledge of the legal requirements and standards applicable to electrical or electronical products. You have been working with electrical product aspects from a standardization, product development or system point of view. Furthermore you have a good understanding of the ways that these standards are being developed and maintained in different standardization organizations/authorities and how they are applied in product development. You know how to interpret complex subjects and identify needed actions, while translating these complex issues to something that is easy to comprehend. You have an interest in improving ways of working and to take a lead in your contacts with internal and external stakeholders. As a true networker you know how to build a network of both internal and external contacts in the global standardization community. Your skills in English are very good, both in verbal and in written communication.
