IKEA Industry Novgorod Flatline Factory is a greenfield project started by Inter IKEA group in 2016. Key products in our portfolio are METOD cabinets, KNOXHULT cabinets and PAX wardrobes delivered to IKEA customers in Europe and Russia. Operating new high-tech equipment, we produce 20 cabinets and 14 shelves per minute with ambition to reach yearly capacity 7 million cabinets in 2020.  

We are looking for Project Engineer to join factory Technical Team. You will work on implementation of investment projects related with safety, sustainability, performance boost and process control.Together with the team you will make life at work better and contribute to business results. Project Engineer will directly report to Technical Manager Flatline Factory.

In this role You will drive investment agenda:

• Collect investment needs connected with safety, sustainability, performance boost and process control from the departments
• Evaluate project efficiency, pay back period, operational and strategical impact
• Present and confirm investment budget with factory Management team
• Drive investment projects (pre-project evaluation, project team communication, implementation plan, milestones and deadlines, budget follow-up )
• Represent the company in negotiations with contractors and sub-contractors
• Coordinate document flow (tender process, contracts, accounting docs)
• Drive change management process
• Perform monthly follow-up of project costs
• Investigate internal opportunities of the factory and market of industrial solutions

Your profile:

• University degree in Technical area: automation, energy, mechanics or electrical engineering)
• Technical background 3+ years (project engineering is preferable)
• Proficient PC user: MS Office (Excel, Word, PP, Outlook), AutoCAD
• English at Intermediate level
• Project management and time-management skills
• Planning and organization skills, multitask, strong negotiation skills, out-of-the box thinking
• Eager to work in a team to achieve business results
