About the assignment

We provide unique IKEA specialist competence in developing, improving, designing, establishing and operating Customer meeting points based on a market approach across all IKEA markets.

We coach, mentor, support and challenge IKEA retailers in their expansion plans.

We cooperate with our IKEA franchisees in over 50 countries all over the world. We work in a multicultural environment, were we are comfortable using English (spoken and written) to communicate.

We develop and co-create inspirational IKEA retail architecture, by transforming market and business needs into outstanding customer meetings.

About the role

We are looking for an architectural intern for at least 6 and maximum 12 months at our office in Helsingborg (during September-October 2020) and Malmö (from 1st of November), starting September 2020.

During your internship, you will be a member of one of our architect teams. Your tasks will include:

• Providing support in feasibility studies, schematic designs, conceptual drawings.
• Building 3D (ArchiCAD) and physical models.
• Making 3D visualizations and illustrations.

About you

• Study in the field of architecture or design, for a minimum of 3 years (bachelor degree).
• An interest in retail design in various scale projects.
• Good skills in visualisation and presentation techniques.
• Are socially skilled and can work independently.
• Speak and write English fluently.
• Experienced in working with ArchiCAD/other CAD software and Abobe products.
