We are looking for Project Leaders for the IKEA Product Information Management (IPIM) team.

Job Description

As a Project Leader in the IKEA Product Information Management Programme you will over time work with a broad variety of topics related to building our new digital core starting with Product Master Data. You will lead projects and initiatives connected to Product Master Data Management that brings business and technology together. You will lead deliveries in an iterative yet structured way. You will plan deliveries short and mid term and relate those to our overall Product Master Data Management roadmap. You will lead colleagues at IKEA as well as partners together.

The responsibilities in your role include

  • Project planning, steering and follow up
  • Resource planning, budgeting and vendor management
  • Coach project team members in their assignments
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with stakeholders across IKEA and build and maintain strong, long-lasting stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead project performance/results assessment, identification of insights, document and share learnings
  • Create preconditions that enables inclusion of perspectives and competencies, co-worker engagement, team spirit and togetherness.
  • Act as a role model in regards to IKEA Culture, Values and Code of conduct. 
  • Be a change driver for developing the business & people agenda by identifying and sharing possible future competence or business needs. 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role you need to have an interest in home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home, and be excited by our vision to create a better everyday life for the many people. 

We are looking for the following basic qualifications:

  • You have solid Project Leading experience with concrete results
  • Business and financial understanding and experience in budgeting.
  • Experience working with complex organizational structures that involve many stakeholders.
  • Experience in risk analysis and scenario planning.
  • Experience working with change management & change communication methods and tools.
  • You lead yourself and have the ability to lead and influence others
  • You are a problem solver, not only once, but scalable in a structured way
  • You enjoy working in an iterative way, in an environment that is not yet fully set
  • You have excellent communication and networking skills
  • You lead and act as a role model with the IKEA Culture and values always in mind in your daily work
