We are looking for Business Analysts for the IKEA Product Information Management (IPIM) team.

Job Description

As a Business analyst in the IKEA Product Information Management Programme you will over time work with a broad variety of topics, securing that business and user needs in are analyzed, described and translated into business requirements. You will secure that any business process changes that are needed are understood and anchored as part of the business requirements. You´ll be working as part of the relevant teams in IKEA of Sweden and stakeholders across IKEA.

As a Business Analyst you will mainly work with following:

  • Leading Business requirements gathering from business needs to then end solution and testing
  • Facilitate the identification and elaboration of feasible business solutions for process, organization and service with business modelling while managing expectations among the stakeholders  
  • Validate compliance of business requirements through the Service Validation/Test & Configuration Management processes execution by the IT Suppliers, review test results, follow-up and steer on defined test
  • Contribute to the creation of solution documentation in co-operation with process/business teams and IT Suppliers.
  • Contribute to the creation of the ‘learning offer’ for the solution including training materials and delivery of training
  • Support any roll out that is part of the solution 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role you need to have strong interest in home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home, experience and a good understanding of business analyses methods and tools.

You ideally bring digital, business analyst and projects experience. An interest in new technologies and how they could improve IKEA business and user experiences in the future will be of great value.

You have experience in business process creation and understand the importance of processes in overall and you take a human approach to it.

You enjoy an agile and iterative, yet structured way of working and achieving results together with a team in a flexible environment, but also have a strong individual drive to deliver high quality results on time. You have good communication and networking skills and are fluent in written and spoken English.

Travelling based on business needs will be necessary.
