IKEA Components develop and supply IKEA with customer friendly component solutions for better products – and better homes. We are responsible for selected components and raw-material, which means develop, purchase and supply to IKEA suppliers. IKEA Components have also the assignment to provide After Sales service of components to the end customers. Our business is global and employs 1200 people based mainly in Sweden, Slovakia and China.

Job Description

As a Communication Business Partner in IKEA Components you will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of business-driven communication to support the leadership in our business in achieving its business and people objectives.  You will also contribute to a shared communication agenda and identify opportunities for alignment within a unit, across units and across the IKEA organizations.

Your assignment will include:
•    to be a strategic and tactical partner to one or more unit(s) or other appointed assignors 
•    to define and enable their communication needs and goals
•    to create clear and actionable communication plans and communication briefs 
•    to enable efficient and effective creation, production and follow-up
•    to secure an effective and receiver-oriented information flow that demonstrates a forward-looking and values-driven brand
•    to contribute to the overall communication strategy, content strategy and communication channel landscape
•    to support the development of communication competence within the unit(s) and its stakeholders and enable others to lead with communication
•    to identify and share communication best practice and be part of establishing and implementing communication processes  

Qualifications

To shine and succeed in this role, we would like you to have: 
• university degree (Information management, communication, marketing) or equivalent 
• experience in working with business and internal communication strategy, planning and execution and an understanding of how communication supports and increases the impact of a business agenda
• strong written, visual and spoken communication skil
• ability to build trust and strong working relationships across a wide diversity of people 
• desire to enable others to lead with communication, and mentor and coach others in communication creation and delivery
