IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people.   

Range & Supply Digital leads and guides the totality of the Range & Supply digital landscape by combining business knowledge with digital competence, to realise business opportunities today and tomorrow. The Solution Area manages and develops common IT solutions and services for Range & Supply and secures that the digital services provided meet R&S requirements. 

As Solution Owner, you will work closely with the Jira and Confluence users across Range & Supply (R&S), and the R&S Digital processes team to ensure that our tools and their use are optimised, thereby contributing to the achievement of our business goals. You will represent R&S as a single point of contact towards the Product Owner at IKEA IT, our provider of the tools. You will actively contribute to the establishment of a roadmap for tools to support your digital colleagues at R&S. 

More specifically, in this new role you will: 

• Build a thorough understanding for how the tools are currently used at R&S and what potential they have. 
• Be an active part in moving towards product-oriented ways of working. 
• Manage the R&S super-users, collecting and prioritising requirements and needs 
• Represent R&S as a single point of contact towards the provider as well as representing R&S in the Jira & Confluence governance structures. 
• Work with the Digital processes and ways of working team to understand the future digital needs at R&S. 
• Understand the tool potential as a support to the digital ways of working  
• Contribute to creating an IT for IT tool roadmap, supporting the R&S digital processes and ways of working 
• Be prepared to take on responsibility for a broader solution/product portfolio within IT development. 
• Support compliance to data privacy and information security requirements. 

You will report to the Solution Area Manager at R&S Digital.

Experience from working in an agile context according to agile ways of working /frameworks would be an advantage, but not a must. 

Moreover, we also believe that you have: 

• an academic and practical background within IT / Software Engineering  
• experience of solution / product ownership in a global organisation  
• Knowledge and experience working with “IT for IT tools”, preferably Jira / Confluence 
• an interest in digital technology trends 
• a desire to share knowledge, and develop people and competence. 
• the ability to engage with key stakeholders to understand and translate their needs.
