We are looking for Technical Project Leader in 3D. Someone who’s passionate about production and creation of global 3D development and technical solutions that can support IKEA’s 3D Landscape, who navigates in 3D possibilities, always on the outlook for the solution that fits the need and aligned with key 3D Stakeholders.

As Technical Project Leader in 3D in IKEA of Sweden, you are responsible for the production of 3D technical & developmental projects that support IKEA’s 3D Agenda, securing satisfaction by delivery of high quality solutions in time, at a low cost and within agreed budget. To make this possible, you will lead projects with internal/external 3D teams as well as drive development & technology, using 3D as a foundation.

In the role you will:

• Lead diverse teams assigned for each project.
• Work closely together with key 3D stakeholders, IKEA business units and/or other 3D production & development companies.
• Responsible for exploring, planning, defining & deploying 3D technical & developmental solutions supporting IKEA’s 3D Agenda.
• Take responsibility for the business aspects of the projects; create and agree on quotations, debrief, identify deviations and secure delivery within agreed time and budget, ensure that these are communicated to and understood by relevant stakeholders as well as all teams involved.
• Identify consequences of deviations from agreed project plan with regards to quality, time and cost, communicate conseqences with relevant stakeholders and secure decisions needed to move forward.
• Negotiate contracts with freelancers and sub-suppliers and follow up the project budget.

To be successful in this role, you need:

• 3+ years of professional experience, strong strategic communications skills.
• Experience as main responsible Project Leader for several 3D technical/developmental or similar projects that have proven successful.
• Proven experience in managing client/multiple stakeholder management and successful in conducting negotiations.
• Planning and budget management.
• Proven record of consistently meeting agreed deadlines and goals.
• Self-driven, strong team skills, also has ability to lead and facilitate creative & technical processes.
• Excellent networking skill, a quick learner and ambassador of the IKEA values
• Fluent in English and good communication skills.
