Job Description

As Engagement Communication Project Leader , you are in the lead of deploying the communication strategy for external and internal communication securing a successful positioning of IKEA as a leading brand in circular, total value chain business development. You work in connection with the External Communication Teams of IKEA companies to secure clear, aligned and trusted external messages of Circular IKEA. You will work with many different stakeholders both within and outside of IKEA.

The assignment is located in Älmhult, an environment based on creativity and innovation, which gives you the opportunity to work and interact with people from all around the world. Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg two times a day.

You will work with:

  • You are responsible to contribute to the development, and lead the deployment of an internal and external communication strategy and plan based on the Circular IKEA direction.
  •  You support the creation of business communications (e.g. presentations, pre reads, business updates etc.) as well as provide direction on content, frequency, and most effective media.
  • You identify and prepare communication with internal spokespersons and external stakeholders and secure a professional representation of the IKEA brand, in line with IKEA’s tone of voice.
  • You advise, coach, and support the Circular IKEA spokespersons.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we want you to have several years of experience working with communication and external representation, preferably for a complex global organization. You are successful in combining strategic and operative communication tasks and naturally you have strong presentation skills. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships as well as to influence and challenge. You have an interest in home furnishing and, perhaps most importantly, you always, always have the customer in mind in all that you do!
