Job Description

Purpose of function:

-        To secure effective information technology (IT) that supports Inter IKEA business processes by maintaining, developing and supporting reliable, robust and efficient IT solutions.

-        To be the local business partner responsible for IT issues and working as one seamless IT organisation with IT Delivery and Demand.

-        To secure local IT operations and ensure that technology solutions are delivered within Purchasing & Logistics Area to high standards to meet the needs of co-workers in order to reach the goals.

Purpose of the job:

-        Provide professional onsite IT support with a high service level to local co-workers.

-        Secure the support for a number of Inter IKEA IT systems and ensure the knowledge is kept professionally up-to-date about advances in technology.

-        Secure organisational deliverables according to established Inter IKEA priorities through the development of a competent and high performing organisation based on the needs of today and tomorrow.

-        Be the link between central stakeholders and the office in the country.

Assignments

-        Perform and manage planned activities, such as IT installations, upgrades, local rebuilds and maintenance activities according to agreed goals, defined strategies and budget.

-         Take necessary decisions and actions to solve issues, as well as prioritise issues according to business needs in close co-operation with the global Single Point of Contact (Helpdesk) in an efficient and professional manner.

-        Perform all daily tasks according to set procedures, rules and guidelines and ensure that they are aligned within the organization.

-        Provide technical training to end users at any time, act as an ambassador of Inter IKEA values, Inter IKEA IT and Role Model for Fact-based Business leadership in the country.

-        Maintain and ensure continuous uptime of the onsite IT infrastructure

-        Secure efficiency within the team through simple and cost-efficient ways of working

-        Responsible for the budget and overall Country IT investments

-        Monitor the development of IT technologies and system trends, and evaluate their possible business benefits.

-        Responsible for IT security in close co-operation with risk management and information security.

-        Manage relationships with Inter IKEA IT, vendors, contractors, service providers and other stakeholders, such as local co-workers.

-        Respond to IT emergency situations.

-        At any time, act as an ambassador of Inter IKEA values

Qualifications

-      5+ year experience of working within IT, preferably in global organisations

-      Having strong knowledge and working experience with IT infrastructure including Cisco router/switch/wireless network, Windows servers, Active Directory, Windows desktop management in an enterprise environment

-      Good knowledge of IT service management, information security and data privacy processes, guidelines

-      Experience of implementing and supporting meeting room equipment, video conferencing, server room

-      Experience of managing vendors, service providers

-      Good knowledge and experience in project management tools and methodology

-      Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

-      Service-minded and professional, putting the end users’ needs and Inter IKEA business operations in focus

-      Verbal and written fluency in English
