In IKEA we work together across the value chain to be affordable and accessible for many more of the many people with our fantastic product range. At IKEA of Sweden we are responsible to develop and supply the IKEA product range offer.  This is done in the different Home Furnishing Businesses where the Sales team is responsible to secure the preconditions for the IKEA retailers to create a great meeting with the customers. The Sales Collaboration Leader for pricing role sits in the Sales matrix, where we work with different assignments supporting the home furnishing businesses with efficient and effective ways of working, aiming to ensure that the customers successfully meet the IKEA range offer in all of our touchpoints all over the world.

In the Sales Collaboration team we lead four areas of expertise; planning sales, range allocation, sales activation and pricing.  World class sales collaboration processes contribute to secure that the products customers want to have, are available for them to buy at an affordable price.

Job Description

As the Sales Collaboration Leader for Pricing, you work in close collaboration with stakeholders from across the IKEA network to ensure efficient ways of working that enable an affordable IKEA offer, making IKEA more competitive and enabling growth and profitability in the different markets. You lead the development of ways of working with pricing utilized in the Home Furnishing Businesses including the IKEA food range. In this assignment you will be responsible to secure that the ways of working are recognized as relevant, quick, lean, simple and easy to use.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Making sure that working methods, tools and competences related to pricing are relevant, accessible and continuously up to date.
• Leading development networks to collaborate around development needs related to pricing and sharing of best practices.
• Lead and follow-up of pricing KPI’s ensuring that working methods are relevant, quick, lean, simple and easy to use.
• Participate in projects as well as the functions and matrixes where specialist knowledge is needed
• Describe the competences (knowledge, capabilities and motivation) needed for execution of the working methods and facilitate the implementation, including supporting with knowledge levels for different users.

You have good systemic awareness with the ability to see the whole picture, building relationships and interacting with relevant parts in the IKEA network. You have good ability to lead through others, embracing thriftiness, simplicity, common sense and, above all, a “get-it-done” attitude.
You have excellent ability to lead in the unknown, in a fast-changing environment being open to doing things differently. You have the ability to combine working on a strategic level with acting on an operation/tactical level. You are a good communicator with the ability to inspire others and express yourself clearly.
You have experience in the field of pricing and understand how pricing decisions impacts product development, markets and customer’s satisfaction. If you have knowledge in IKEA it is highly beneficial.

In this role you will report to the Sales Collaboration Manager in Sales, IKEA of Sweden.
