Marketing & Communication is a new function in our Business Areas and leads and ensures that the marketing and communication delivers to strategies and business plans, throughout the entire lifecycle to reach IKEA positioning, brand and growth.

As Marketing & Communication Communicator, you create and secure high quality communication content for our consumer facing touch points to make the buying process easy and smooth for our customers.

The Business Area (BA) where you will work is BA Children’s & Lighting. We are a diverse group of down-to-earth, straightforward people with a passion for home furnishing. Right now we are looking for Marketing & Communication Communicator to cover parental leave till March 2021.

Your main responsibilities include:
• Analyse and identify the need of (product and range) communication content, based on insights and customer needs, in order to decide what, when and how to communicate for all consumer-facing media and channels.
• Secure the customer perspective from a range and product communication point of view in the product development process (DNP) when developing news, improves and running range.
• Manage the execution of the communication production in the different media activation projects.
• Approve, follow up and secure that communication messages are fulfilled in the communication execution.
• Proactively inform communication production suppliers about upcoming plans to secure the content readiness.
• Work with product from communication perspective throughout the Product life cycle and the customer experience journey.
• Contribute to the Marketing & Communication budget in the BA, as well as to the yearly Communication Plan on a tactical level.
• Contribute to the matrix by creating and co-leading the development of common ways of working, tools and methods, by having an open innovative mind-set.

We are looking for you with passion for communication, business, branding! You are guided by simplicity and always strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering high quality communication.

You have several years of experience working with communication, and the ability to apply a range and communication direction to product communication. You enjoy taking initiatives and to lead and drive product- and range communication content with a customer perspective. You are detailed, structured and analytical end enjoy working cross functions and organisations.
