Job Description

  • Responsible for Quality Assurance including to secure process control for key processes at suppliers
  • Perform Product audits and production risk assessments at suppliers
  • Responsible for Supplier development according to IKEA Supplier Operating Standard (ISOS) & GO/NOGO requirements
  • Lead the running range development with suppliers and sub suppliers to secure full compliance to IKEA requirements
  • Lead the Supplier Development Process in quality and manufacturing areas with responsibility to identify and implement actions and execution of projects
  • Responsible for improvement projects related to production processes and best practices / knowledge sharing to create pre-conditions for the suppliers to take full responsibility for their performance
  • Lead product deviation process with sense of urgency and capture learning from previous product deviations. Secure root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for received Quality Alarms and Claims
  • Lead industrialization of news development
  • Secure implementation of new and updated requirements
  • Secure final inspection and regular follow up and feedback to the suppliers regarding quality performance and work proactively to improve Customer Experienced Product Quality
  • Evaluate potential new supplier’s production facilities and quality systems

Qualifications

  • Lean & continuous improvement: Able to Set up & coordinate lean manufacturing deployment & managing continuous improvement
  • Product development: Able to work closely with Development and Technical team to ensure new product starts right at the first time
  • Quality problem solving skill: Establish quality improvement and address quality issue with problem solving tools
  • Quality engineering: Oversee manufacturing process to comply with minimum quality
  • Training & coaching skill: Able to develop trainings & workshops for suppliers
  • Knowledge of audit and assessment techniques, and analysis of suppliers working methods and performance
  • Good at evaluation of supplier’s technical capabilities and quality performance to produce the IKEA product(s)
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
