IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA retail channels with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduces 2,000 new products in the 420 IKEA stores and other multichannel touchpoints around the world with the turnover of 38.3 BEUR. In IKEA Range & Supply in Älmhult you find Internal Services. Internal Services is responsible to support the core business with crucial work place and business related services. Site & Logistics are responsible to secure that the daily operation is working in an efficient way and that our work place and exhibition areas are in shape as new.

Job Description

As Site Operations Leader you are responsible for ensuring that the facilities at the sites you are responsible for are in conditions that meets the expectations from both visitors and co-workers. You are  the link between different, both external and internal, stakeholders and coordinate the work that needs to be done to fulfill the expectations. 

You will also be responsible for a specific area of expertise - in this case transport and logistics. This means ensuring daily operations of the transports and logistic services connected to our business as well as be part of developing this area according to future needs. 

About the assignment
In your role you will also be responsible for:

  • Secure the daily operations at the site
  • Planning and coordinating needed maintenance and actions with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing contact and interaction with external vendors, ordering needed services
  • Involvement in, and coordination of, operational tasks within safety and security
  • Secure that set routines and agreements are being followed and give input on continuous improvements

Qualifications

We believe you are a well organised, self-driven and a highly service oriented person. You are passionate about doing the best for the business in order to actively work for cost efficiency. You have the ability to build trustful relationships with people on all levels and take pride in setting high standards in place in order to meet the demands from the business.

You need to have a background within facility operation as well as experience from the transport or logistics business. 

Furthermore you need to have:

  • Experience of leading operational daily maintenance and site operations
  • Ability to juggle multiple task and requests simultaneously
  • Excellent skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
