With the task to capture the opportunities of a changing world, Range & Product Innovation has the responsibility to enable IKEA to meet the future. We are here to explore the big problems in life at home, creating solutions relevant for the many people Using Democratic Design as our guide, we collaborate with partners and customers and together challenge known truths in the world of ideas and technology.

As Project leader for Water Solutions you will utilize your wide experience and knowledge in this field to provide innovative solutions that will create wellbeing and save water, energy and money for our many customers.
In this role you will be responsible to lead the collaboration with our different development and innovation partners in their field of expertise.

You will take the lead to deliver the solutions all the way to the market, going beyond customer expectations. Ýou do this by establishing and leading collaborations with innovative start-ups and major industry leading partners within the area of water.
By developing new concepts and solutions following our roadmap you will take an important role to enable as many people as possible to create their water positive home!

To be successful in this role we see that you have experience in leading development connected to water (filtration, drinking water, flow reduction, recycling and reuse of water). You are determined, passionate in what you do and driven by creating innovation with a meaning. With your problem solving approach, humbleness and willpower, open mind, curiosity and courage to try new solutions you contribute to our entrepreneurial IKEA culture and our vision.

You are willing to put in big efforts to make a sustainable global difference on how water is used in homes. You have the capability to build strong lasting relations with internal and external partners. You are passionate about creating the best sustainable solutions for the customers at the right price, quality, good function and with beautiful form.
Furthermore we see that you have proven experience in:
Essential:

• Solid experience from the area of fresh water products or solutions
• Understanding of different materials and technologies used in connection to water
• Going from insights into customers’ needs to ideation to a verified, scalable solution
• Working in a fast paced, constantly changing environment, leading from questions and in the unknown
• Leading multiple stakeholders and partners using situational leadership
  
  Preferred:
• First-hand experience living/working in a water stressed environment
• Understanding of the characteristics and treatment of drinking water;
• Knowledge of Project management methodology (e.g. Task planning, Time, Resource, Cost planning and KPI's)
• Engineering knowledge (Drawing technique, 3D models, Material, Production, Construction)
• Relevant IT tools knowledge level (Project Management tool, Office, 3D etc.)
• Knowledge and experience of IKEA concepts, strategies and processes are a great advantage
