IKEA Purchasing Area South East Asia has co-workers based in Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok and Jakarta; and is one of nine Purchasing Areas in the world.

We are looking for you who have a strong drive to make things happen together with the teams and suppliers working with the IKEA range in our South East Asia – Natural Fibers Team.

Your assignment part of the business team and work towards the suppliers to develop and secure the running range, production process, handling of quality deviations and secure compliance to all IKEA requirements.

Expectation on Capabilities and Motivation;

·        You have good knowledge of production processes and technologies

·        You have very good at evaluate the suppliers technical capability and Quality performance to produce products

·        You have good knowledge at quality assurance set up including cost calculating and materials.

·        You have good knowledge at Lean Production methods and tools (Root Cause, FMEA, fishbone, etc.)

·        You are a process oriented with good analytical skills and a structured approach.

·        You have ability to lead projects and implementation to secure product quality and customer satisfaction.

·        You have capability to build trust and relationships, for long term business partnership by act in reality 

·        You have good communication skills in English both written and verbal.

·        You have passion to develop business and deliver result
