Job Description

We are now looking for a Range & Product communication manager to Marketing & Communication!

The position as Marketing & Communication Range & Product Communication manager is new strategic role where you together with your team will be responsible for defining and develop future guidelines methods and ways of working for product- and range communication. It will require you to understand and meet the needs of today and tomorrow, leading the necessary changes within Range & Product communication.

You will report to Marketing & Communication Design manager and be part of the Marketing & Communication Design management team. This role requires great leadership skills and experience in leading and developing managers as well as co-workers.

In this role, we believe that you will:

  • Meet the needs of today and tomorrow by leading the necessary transformational changes within Range & Product communication to stay at the forefront in the costumer journey and consumer experiences
  • Be responsible to define, developing and manage the overall M&C service catalogue through emerging new trends, technologies and communication methods
  • Set the pre-requisites for all marketing and communication content to be developed as an integrated part of our value chain, meeting needs throughout the customer experience journey.
  • Secure that decisions and insights are fact based, delivering better market relevant communication for the end-consumer, strengthening IKEA to reach many more of the many people.
  • Secure excellent cross-function collaboration and good relations with HFB’s, partners and other stakeholders
  • Lead and manage managers and co-workers in order for them to develop and deliver within their assignment as high performing teams, securing the necessary short/long- term development, recruitment and succession plans in the assignment area.

Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role you need to have a solid track record of marketing and/or communication development, preferably with an academic degree in Marketing, Communication or equivalent.  We believe you have a passion to develop business and people as well as a curiosity in the future of marketing & communication and up to date of today’s multichannel landscape. You have of course proven organisational and excellent leadership skills and you build strong and trustworthy relationships and feel confident in managing and leading cross-functional teams effectively
