Solution Specialist for the dimensioning tool at Customer meeting points

About the assignment

We provide unique IKEA specialist competence in developing, improving, designing, establishing and operating Customer meeting points based on a market approach across all IKEA markets.

We coach, mentor, support and challenge IKEA retailers in their expansion plans.

We cooperate with our IKEA franchisees in 52 countries all over the world. We work in a multicultural environment, were we are comfortable to use English (spoken and written) to communicate.  Travel to meet our customers and our business partners is also part of our job.

About the role:

As a Solution specialist for the dimensioning tool in Customer meeting points you:

• Be the functional solution expert for the dimensioning tool. The dimensioning tool is our digital tool that support retailer what sizes and capacities they need in the customer meeting point for the market. All formulas and competence in the tool is based on global experience from all existing units.

• Be responsible to provide functional user support.

• Responsible for training plans and development of learning and communication content (e.g. release notes), in line with the business, users and solution needs.

• Responsible to maintain solution management processes and perform administrative flows for the assigned Business Solutions

• Responsible to validate functionality and design for continuous improvement for the dimensioning tool.

• Support with basic validation of input to the tool in the running business of expansion projects.

About you

• University degree or equivalent

• Strong application operation and support experience

• Experience in driving Digital change in a constantly changing environment

  Preferred:

• 3 year experience in equal/comparable position

• Experience from the IKEA value-chain 

• Experience from the Business the BSA is supporting and enabling

• Leadership with the ability to make complex issues understood and actionable.

• Capability to navigate and lead in a complex, unknown and fast-changing environment.

• Capability to collaborate and work in processes, engaging different IKEA competences in the network

• Knowledge of digital technology, digital infrastructure and IT services

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies

• Good knowledge on functional and technical details, support flows, documentation, communication, user training and adult learning

• Strong verbal and written English language skills.

The position is currently located in Helsingborg but the position will be moved to Malmö within the coming years. International travel will be required.
