Right now we're looking for a Product Picture Coordinator. Someone who’s passionate about the production of global communication, who navigates in the digital possibilities always on the outlook for the solution that fits the message and the frames that fit the solution.

The Product Picture Business Area at IKEA Communications create, produce and deliver product communication. We yearly produce 30 000 high-quality product pictures from 3D or photo, and product films in order to enhance the customer experience and tell the story about our products. All of the communication contributes to the IKEA customer understanding of IKEA products. 

As Product Picture Coordinator you are coordinating the production and delivery of the product picture assignment, ensuring consistency of product picture development.

 

In the role you will:

  • Participate in preplanning meeting and follow up on the scope of each sales start.
  • Ensure that all incoming orders contain the complete relevant information and components before the start of production by collecting product information, analyzing the brief and secure samples and 3D models.
  • Contribute to the planning of production by compiling picture/film information and samples/3D models in a clear and logical way.
  • Communicate deviations in scope, time-plan and quality to the relevant stakeholder.
  • Coordinate between assignor and production team.
  • Ensure quality assurance of the final product pictures or films according to briefs, concepts and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the optimization of the production flow for product pictures and films.
  • Build and maintain good relations and cooperate closely with assignors and production teams.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Education or work experience within communication, 3D, motion media or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in image production, film production and/or 3D modelling.
  • Experience in planning, coordination and administration of projects of different scopes and complexities.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to interpret a brief and translate into efficient image production.
  • Ability to handle large amounts of data and navigate multiple technical systems.
  • Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people skills, able to influence collaboration between stakeholders/work groups
