We are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager for IKEA Industry Trnava, Slovakia to become a part of the management team in the production unit.

Job Description

Contributes to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks for the organization included but not limited to processing monthly financial statements and payroll processes in a timely and accurate way, ensuring compliance with Corporate policies & procedures, as well as local, international laws and regulations within area of responsibility.

Principal Responsibilities:
To prepare financial statements and various fiscal and/or budget reports, as appropriate to area of accounting, analyses, and conclusions.
To plan workloads, workflows, deadlines, work objectives and time utilization in the team.
To review financial statements and payroll process and various fiscal and/or budget reports.
To lead budget planning process.
To coordinate budget update (forecast), providing accurate and timely financial information, to facilitate top management decision-making process.
To ensure monthly financial statements are issued accurate and on a timely basis; and in compliance with applicable financial reporting standards.
To ensure proper internal control procedures, that will allow all business cycles to operate according to standards and applicable legislation. Deploy corporate standard internal control procedures and adapt them to local environment, to be in compliance with IKEA Industry Administartion Manual (IIAM).
To have proper physical inventory controls in place, to avoid loss or damage of any company assets.
To ensure compliance with Legal regulations.
To ensure accurate payroll process.
To support on the decision making process for any projecs, to evaluate and control new investments. To coordinate and ensure proper support to all financial audit process. Be responsible for IT, Security concept, food supplier. To promote effective internal communication culture.
To implement processes that allows team performance excellence and personal development, as to meet both Company and employees expectations.
To perform any other tasks, duties, or services requested by his/her immediate superior.

Qualifications

About you

You’re an analyzer and an influencer. You find the truth behind the figures to steer the IKEA business. Securing compliance with local and international laws and reporting standards? Assuring accounting processes are efficient and tax compliance meets business needs? Consider it done. Providing reliable financial data to a wide variety of stakeholders? You’re on it. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

You come with good track record in current & previous positions, in leading and developing both business and people, you lead by example and have the ability to bring out the best in your team and the people and organizations you encounter. Profile:

Formation:
Master Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting desirable.

Languages & Experience:
English: excellent written and oral communication skills, experience on the similar position with supervisory responsibility

Base pay for this position starts from 2.900 EUR (can be agreed individually based on the experience of the candidate) and there might be further pay components within the total Company Compnsation and Benefits offer.
